Tamariki Pick Ups and Drop Offs

Tamariki will need to be dropped off and picked up by parents at the area where they are getting changed.  Please help with the changing of your tamariki – once the performance is over please go back and help change tamariki and then tamariki are the responsibility of parents – kaiako have other responsibilities on the day.

Tuakana Kapa Haka

We may be having 2 practices after kura this week.  These will be on Monday 15/08/2016 and Wednesday 17/08/2016.  Practices will be straight after kura – 2.40pm-5.00pm. Tamariki will need to be picked up from kura at 5.00pm on these days.

Ngā mahi o te rā

Our kura is responsible for the running of the festival and we need awhi.  The areas that we need help in are cleaning the wharepaku from 6.00pm-7.00pm and in the clean-up after prizegiving.  That is where we need the most help, sop lease come and help, particularly in the evening.  If you or any other whānau are available to help during the day please let us know at the tari.

Fundraising Stalls

Our kura will have two stall operating during the day to help fundraise for us – and the call has gone out for help with kai to enable these stalls.  One stall is a steamer hangi stall and the other stall is a sausage sizzle stall.  If whānau are able to donate kai, this would be much appreciated.  A list went out earlier last week for the hangi donations. The whānau members in charge of these stalls are Lizzie Tamatea- Sausage Sizzle, Sarah Te Aonui- Steam Hangi. Please contact these whānau members if you are able to help out and when, knowing that our day will be running from 7.00am-7.00pm.  Kai donations are able to be sent to kura.

He Pātai

If you have any pātai in regards to anything that is happening this week, please contact us as soon as possible.  If you are able to help in any way possible please let us know at the office on Monday morning.  This week will be extremely busy for all concerned – please know what we need to do as a whānau especially around the care of our tamariki on Thursday and Friday, i.e. Picking up and having a whānau member to look after tamariki on the Friday.
